Yan Zhao is a multi-media journalist based in Hong Kong.
She is currently working as a video journalist and TV producer at Agence France Presse's Asia-Pacific video team. Prior to the role in video, she was a correspondent for the agency's Hong Kong bureau.
Her works including photographs and text reporting covering politics as well as social issues can be found on AFP forum and various media outlet including the Guardian, BBC and others.
Along with her journalism work, she is working on personal photography projects. Her work explores transformation of urban landscape, social-political movement, cultural identity and daily bliss.
